Lessons in Legacy by Santori & Peters™
Every episode is built around one idea: that the families who navigate wealth most successfully are the ones who think carefully about what they’re building and why. We explore the intersection of money, family, and legacy — with honesty, depth, and the occasional hard question.
YOUR SITUATION
The Family Wealth Letter.
Not a market update. A letter — written in the first person, about one idea related to family, money, legacy, or planning. Once a month. Short enough to read in five minutes. Useful enough to save.
This is what advisors who are genuinely thinking about your family do — they send you something worth reading, not something they were required to send.

The question I ask every business owner who says they’re “not quite ready” to think about their exit.
I had a conversation this week with a business owner who’s been a client for six years. He told me he’s “probably three years away” from selling — so he wants to wait before we get serious about the planning.
I hear this every month. And every time, I ask the same question back: “What would change in three years that would make the planning easier?”
He thought about it for a moment. Then he said, “I guess nothing.”
